How it all began
At Pyramid FoodService, you aren't just another customer. We've grown to where we are today because of our dedication to quality products and exceptional, personal service for each customer. We embrace every opportunity to go above and beyond. That is why we’ve become the go-to Memphis vending services provider.
2007
Our business began in 2007, when GT Vending (owned by Greg Allgyer and Tim Allgyer) and Snacks 4-U (owned by Jeremy McCoy) merged to further grow their vision for better vending services. We started with only four routes with the founders running each one themselves from their small warehouse off of Getwell Road in Memphis, TN.2017
Tim headed a project to further automate and streamline the business, including adding credit card readers to all vending machines and pre-kitting in the warehouse. This competitive advantage increased our ability to attract new customers. In 2017, we placed our first micro-market. Today, we have markets throughout the Mid-South area.Present
Today, we have multiple routes, advanced technology in the industry, and even a dedicated office coffee service route.2010
With the rapid expansion of our business, we were in need of additional support, which led us to recruit more route drivers. Utilizing our combined experience of over 75 years in the vending industry, we guided our employees to ensure smooth operations. Tim took charge of the operational side, while Jeremy took care of sales and customer service, and Greg managed the route drivers and service issues. As our business continued to grow, we started pondering over the question - what else can we do?2019
In 2019, we began to look for a larger warehouse space and settled on a 20k square foot facility in Memphis, TN. This gave us breathing room to install more technological advantages, such as LightSpeed (an extensive racking/picking system).Leadership

Jeremy McCoy
Owner/Partner of Pyramid FoodService
Born and raised in Memphis, TN, I began in the vending business in 2001. Shortly after graduating from The University of Memphis with a B.B.A., I purchased Snacks 4-U Vending, and began to run the operations of a small vending company, as well as focus on growing the business. In 2007, Pyramid FoodService merged with Guaranteed Total Vending, and Pyramid FoodService, Inc. was born. Tim, Greg, and I became business partners and began to share in the daily responsibilities of owning a business. With a background in sales and customer service, it was a perfect fit for me to manage and direct the sales of the company. I’ve enjoyed seeing the growth of the company, as well as having the opportunity to meet so many new people. When I’m not serving our customers or employees, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching college football, or visiting the gulf coast.
Tim Allgyer
Owner/Partner of Pyramid FoodService
Before founding Pyramid FoodService, Inc. with Jeremy McCoy, I owned a company called Guaranteed TotalVending. With my brother, Greg, we built this company from 1998-2007. Since 2007, my role in Pyramid FoodService mainly focuses on the Finance and Operations side, and continually looking for ways to improve these areas. For instance, discovering new technology, reinventing schedules and run routes, introducing new payment methods, and automating parts of the warehouse so customers receive items quicker. Due to my 25+ years of automatic retail experience, I've been able to watch our company's growth, along with the industry's changes, and see where we can improve. When I'm not at Pyramid FoodService, I enjoy going to the gym, reading, watching a little Big Brother, and woodworking.
Greg Allgyer
Owner/Partner of Pyramid FoodService
Shortly after completing a five-year enlistment in the army, where I served my country with honor and dedication, I began my career in 1986. My journey in the refreshment industry started at Servomatic, where I held various positions and eventually became a route manager. These roles allowed me to gain valuable experience and develop a deep understanding of the industry's intricacies. Then, I started a company with my brother, Tim, before joining forces with Jeremy and becoming a co-founder of Pyramid FoodService. With more than three decades of experience in the refreshment industry, I am able to assist Pyramid FoodService with my strong work ethic and exceptional leadership skills, due to my reputation as a reliable and trustworthy professional. Our reputable company provides exceptional services and customer service to its clients, which it has done for over two decades. My dedication to my work and ability to adapt to changing market trends has been instrumental in Pyramid FoodService's continued growth and reputation as a trusted provider in the industry. When I am not busy cultivating relationships with clients or leading the company towards new opportunities, I enjoy traveling with my wife of nearly 30 years.
